Happy Thanksgiving this week! Are you getting together with family? Are you traveling to visit friends? Thanksgiving is a time to get together with your friends and family and give thanks to God for all He has done for us.

Give Thanks to God!

T Thank you God for:

H Homes that are happy and warm, filled with love,

A Aunts and uncles, grandparents and cousins,

N Natural beauty of creation, nighttime and nicknames,

K Kittens and puppies and pets of all kinds,

S Sisters and school friends, shade in the summer,

G Glitter of starlight, giggling and grinning, and God,

I Imaging heaven, cake icing and immense mountains,

V Visiting grandparents, vacations, and mom’s voice,

I Icicles hanging, imaginations gone wild, and islands,

N Nightlights, noisy school buses, and neighborhoods,

G Gifts at Christmas, gadgets to figure out and grass.

This week make your own list of what you are giving thanks for this holiday. You can use THANKSGIVING like I did or make it shorter and use THANKS or pick a Thanksgiving word like TURKEY. Share your list with your parents. Maybe your parents could make a list to share with you. Have fun and enjoy your Thanksgiving as you all give thanks to God.
