Happy Thanksgiving! This week we celebrate our Thanksgiving holiday with thanks to our God for all His wonderful blessings. But our verse reminds us to give thanks, no matter the situation or trial. Harder sometimes to do, but we just have to remember the One who loves and cares for us always.

Always Thankful!

Lord, I thank You for my family and friends.

But I also thank You for my scars because they remind me that You healed me.

Lord, I thank You for provision and shelter.

But I also thank You for my tears because they remind me that You dried them.

Lord, I thank You for the beauty I see in Your world.

But I also thank You for my hardships because they remind me that You gave me strength.

Lord, I thank You for Your Son, Jesus, sent for me.

And I also thank You for my sins forgiven because they remind me that You saved me.

This Thanksgiving week, enjoy your friends, your family, and all the fine food. Remember to thank the Lord for the blessings. But also remember to thank Him for the troubles and trials, the tears and the pain, and the sacrifice of His Son that He offers each of us with grace and mercy.

I thank God for each of you! And I thank you for joining me this week as we give thanks to our Lord God in all of our circumstances.
