“The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”” Jeremiah 31:3 NIV
Sometimes I don’t feel like going to church or Sunday school, or I’m mean to someone because I was mad, or I don’t do my chores, or don’t help a person I should have. That’s when I feel like God can’t really love me. I always seem to mess up.
So this week I want to remind all of us, you and me, that God does love us with an “everlasting love” and with “unfailing kindness”. The Bible tells us so!
God Loves You!
God loves you always.
God loves you forever.
God loves you with kindness.
God loves you!
God loves you in a cool breeze that brushes your cheek.
God loves you in a playful puppy that licks your face.
God loves you in a bear hug from your mom and dad.
God loves you in the shining moon and twinkling stars.
God loves you no matter how you are feeling.
God loves you with strength when you are weak.
God loves you with forgiveness when you’ve done wrong.
God loves you with truth when you are searching.
God knew you before you were even born.
God designed you to be uniquely you.
God gave you talents and dreams and gifts.
God put inside you an empty space that only He can fill.
God loves you!
This week rejoice in God’s love for you. Talk to your parents about God’s love and ways that they know that they, and you, are loved.
Blessings and love! You are a beloved child of God.
