“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. Psalms 27:13-14 NIV
The obscurity of fog and clouds is a reminder that God is near even when I can’t feel Him.
Happy New Year to all! After two years of weekly blog posts, I was pretty sure I would have run out of things to say. But perhaps it is more a comment on my ability to talk, or just that the good Lord has so much work to do with me still.
First and foremost I want to thank each and every person who became a follower, or liked a post, or left a comment, or just read my blog posts. Because of all of you, I have already seen the “goodness of the Lord in the land of the living”.
Faith and Waiting
Faith knows that God is love; waiting yields love for others.
Faith puts forth a cheerful face; waiting produces the joy of praise.
Faith is confident of heaven; waiting builds the peace that “surpasses understanding”.
Faith hopes in the promises of God; waiting grows patience and persistence.
Faith accepts forgiveness; waiting cultivates a forgiving heart.
Faith seeks God’s will; waiting delivers strength for the journey.
This week allow your faith to grow and your waiting to produce a strong heart for the Lord.
I thank God for each of you! And I thank you for joining me this week as we see with faith the goodness of the Lord and wait on him with strength and confidence.
Blessings in your waiting!
