“Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad;
Let the sea roar, and all its fullness;
Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it.
Then all of the trees of the woods will rejoice before the Lord.” Psalms 96:11-12
This is one of my favorite times of the year. All of God’s wonderful creation is alive and bursting out! The trees are full of leaves, the wildflowers are blooming, the animals are having babies, and new life is everywhere.
This week I invite you to come outside and interact with God’s creation. Explore, search, discover, study, and enjoy. And as you observe, rejoice with all creation and praise God, our Creator! Because you are created in God’s image!
Rejoice with Creation!
The birds chirp, tweet, coo, squawk and rejoice.
Join in their songs when you add your own voice.
The tree leaves blow, sway, and dance in praise.
Join in their rhythm with your hands up-raised.
The creek gurgles and splashes as its waters applaud.
Join in its thanks as you clap your hands for God.
The flowers bloom brightly in a standing ovation.
Join in their praises to the God of all creation!
I hope you enjoyed your time outside to rejoice in God’s wonderful creation. Draw a picture of one of the special things you discovered. Share it with your parents or friends and tell them about our amazing Creator, God!
If you want to share your picture, ask your parents to share it on Facebook messenger or by email so that I can add it to the Kids Gallery page.
Thanks for joining me this week as we rejoice with all creation! Blessings!
