Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they [the women] went to the tomb at sunrise. When they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side; they were alarmed. “Don’t be alarmed,” he told them. “You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they put him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter. Mark 16:2, 5-7a CSB

Happy Easter morning! A day of praise and celebration. The sorrow and grief of the crucifixion and death of our Lord and Savior Jesus on Good Friday has been replaced with joy. I love that the women were the first to discover this joy. They had come to anoint His body with spices and perfumes. But He was gone!
At first, they worried that someone had taken Jesus’ body away from the tomb until the angel spoke to them saying, “He has risen! He is not here.”
Jesus chose to die a horrible death on the cross for you and me, to cancel our sin.
Jesus conquered death so that you and I could live free and abundant lives in Him.
Jesus commissions each of us to share the good news of salvation with everyone.
Jesus challenges all of us to live and love others, reflecting Him to everyone we meet.
This week, share the joy of the resurrection with others. Love and live your life so that all those around you can see Jesus in you!
I thank God for each of you! And I thank you for joining me this week as we experience the joy of the resurrection and share Jesus’ gift of salvation with others.
Blessings, joy and love this Easter!
Beautiful Just Beautiful. Happy Resurrection Sunday!
