“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 NKJV
Then God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night. They will serve as signs for seasons and for the days and years.” Genesis 1:14 CSB

I love the changing of the seasons. Fall is here when the nights are cooler and the days still a bit warm. The leaves are changing from summer greens to reds, yellows, oranges, and browns. Pumpkins are ripening in the fields. Migrating birds fly overhead as they travel to their winter homes. We cozy up together inside to enjoy some hot chocolate and family time.
The beauty of the fall season invites us to seek God in His creation.
God’s presence is in the soft whisper of cool breezes gliding through the trees.
God cares for the migrating birds; how much more does He care for us.
God’s light is in the sunset ablaze with color in the early evening.
God is our rest in the longer nights that beckon us to sleep in peace.
God’s beauty and design is in the brilliantly amazing colors of the leaves.
God’s promises are in the continuing cycle of the seasons.
God is everywhere in His creation, made and designed for us to enjoy and is a testimony to His everlasting love for each of us.
This week take some time to seek God in this beautiful Fall season. Where do you see His handiwork? Where do you hear His voice? When do feel Him close to you? Where do you find your God?
I thank God for each of you! And I thank you for joining me this week as we seek to find God in His beautiful creation during the fall season.
Blessings as you seek and find your God!
Fall brings a change that we see and feel. Just like the seasons of life that teach us to number days. Thank you for your words this morning to start this crisp new day!
