And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” Isaiah 6:3 NIV

One of my favorite “creation” walks this time of year is, yes, believe it or not, a walk through the woods searching for toadstools. I know it sounds a bit strange, but even in this lowliest of creations the glory of the Lord is displayed. The beauty and diversity of even this small part of creation is amazing.
After the downpours of late afternoon summer storms, the dogs and I head out the next morning with a camera or just a phone. The overnight “blooming” of toadstools on the forest floor is wonderful. Beauty in the color, shape, or function of each is something to ponder. But the diversity is truly astounding.
The earth, and all of creation, sings to the glory of the Lord. And shows us the Creator in His beautiful and diverse world.

Pics from our toadstool walk. Just a few, can you believe the blue one? Beauty and diversity.

Just a few of the hundreds of different leaves on plants. God’s glory displayed in His Creation!
This week, spend time searching for the glory of the Lord in the beauty and amazing diversity of His marvelous creation. Find beauty in unexpected places. See and appreciate the astonishing diversity in plants and animals and even people’s faces. See each as a unique creation and discover the glory of the Lord!
I thank God for each of you! And I thank you for joining me this week as we see the glory of the Lord in all of His wonderful creations.
Blessings as we look for God’s glory in this world!
