Unsearchable Things!

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3 NIV

The joy in a sunset sky.

When I want to change the settings on my computer (because I am not tech savvy) or find a new recipe or get information about nearly any and every thing, I use a search engine, like Google. How many of you have already looked up something today? I have.

But there are some things that are “unsearchable”. For example: “What is God’s will for my life?” And yes, I did a Google search. I got lots of sights that gave me verses for finding God’s will. The best one had this response, “ask Him”, which leads us back to our verse for today. The first part of this verse is a wonderful promise from God, “Call to me and I will answer you”. If we go to God in prayer, He will answer. It might not always be the answer we want, but He answers.

God can do amazing things with us! He shares with us His unsearchable wisdom and ways. It reminds me of this verse from Isaiah. ““For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.” Isaiah 55:8 Here are some examples:

God called Moses and the Israelites to walk through the Red Sea on dry ground.

God instructed Joshua to conquer a walled city with a seven-day silent parade and a shout.

God chose Samuel and rained down fire on a drenched sacrifice to defeat Baal followers.

God sent a shepherd boy with a sling, David, to kill the terror of the Israelite army, Goliath.

God multiplied two fish and five loaves to feed five thousand men plus women and children.

God calls you to participate in His great, amazing and unsearchable plan, ask Him!

This week call out to God, listen for His answer, and discover “great and unsearchable things you do not know”.

I thank God for each of you! And I thank you for joining me this week as we seek God and His great and unsearchable plans.

Blessings as we all call out to God!
