“To the Lord your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.” Deuteronomy 10:14 NIV

Earth Day is this week. We celebrate our earth and learn how we can take better care of it. It is also a great day to celebrate our God and Creator. God created the heavens and the earth and everything in it. We take care of the earth because really, it all belongs to God, He created it for us.

I love to be outside in God’s creation, in “big church”. This week I just want to share some pictures with you of my little part of God’s beautiful creation, the earth, our home. What are your favorite parts of God’s wonderful creation?

This week, talk to your parents and decide how your family can help to take care of our earthly home. Plant a tree, grow a garden, recycle, ride a bike instead of in a car, care for animals, clean up litter, or something else. Decide to have a family day Earth day! And don’t forget to thank God, the Creator, for this wonderful planet, earth.
