Let’s Find God

“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” Romans 1:20 NIV

Spring daffodils pushing up through the leaves on the forest floor near the old chimneys. Someone planted them long ago!

Paul tells us that we can find God in the wonderful world He has created. Come outside with me today. Step out into God’s creation. Let’s look around and see if we can find God.

Let’s Find God

God is in the beauty of a color-splashed sunrise.

God is in the blue of clear sultry summer skies.

God is in the whoosh of an early spring breeze.

God is in the blowing snow of winter’s freeze.

God is in the high peaks of a mountain range.

God is in the fall leaves green to color change.

God is in the winding rivers that flow to the sea.

God is in the budding leaves of the apple tree.

God is in the squirrel’s spiraling tree climb.

God is in the black bear’s winter sleep-time.

God is in every creation that inhabits the earth.

God is in you and me, we all have His worth.

This week, step outside and observe a part of God’s creation. Draw a picture of where you find God in His wonderful creation. Share your picture with your parents and ask them where they find God. Creation displays God’s power, His plan, His peace, His joy and His everlasting love!

Blessings as you discover God in creation!
