Praise the Lord!

“Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars. Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies. Let them praise the name of the Lord, for at his command they were created.” Psalms 148:3-5 NIV

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.” Psalms 150:6 NIV

A beautiful sunrise cloud praises the Creator, our God.

The Psalms are filled with praises to our God. Praise means to offer grateful and joyful adoration to our God. Our God who created everything, who loves us without end, who helps us and protects us, who saves us, who forgives us, and cares for us. Let all of creation praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord!

The sun rises, brightening and warming the day, praising God with light.

The moon shines in the darkness, honoring God with soft light for night.

The cheetah races across the savannah, thanking God for her speed.

The eagle soars upwards, knowing the Lord meets his every need.

The fish swishes his tail and catches a bug, thankful the Lord provides.

The whale swims the oceans, praising God for her knowledge of the tides.

The black bear splashes in a cool creek, honoring God for His kind care.

The spotted fawn sleeps safely, accepting that God, His protection shares.

The children run in the field, laughing and singing songs of joyful praise.

Our God takes care of all of His creations, we will praise Him all of our days.

This week, take some time to praise our awesome God. Sing Him a praise song, write a sentence of praise, celebrate His creation with a picture, give thanks for all God has done for you, or just let the words of praise flow with every breath. Praise the Lord!
