“For the Lord is the great God, and the great King above all gods. In His hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the hills are His also. The sea is His for He made it; and His hands formed the dry land. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.” Psalms 95:3-6 NKJV
I take every opportunity to get outside and walk through the woods around our home. Having two rambunctious dogs gives me the perfect excuse to explore God’s incredible creation. I sometimes take my camera or phone and enjoy snapping a few pics of the unusual and beautiful.
These verses from Psalms remind us that all of creation belongs to God. After all He created it! But I am always amazed at the smallest details of creation. Things that God seemed to make just for us to enjoy, to wonder at, and to demonstrate to us that He is our great God, our Maker.
Consider God’s detailed designs and our delight in discovering that God is there in each created part!
-leaves with intricate veins and unique shapes, function and beauty entwined,
-animal varieties with stripes, spots, humps, trunks, long legs, and wagging tails,
-a bright patch of green in the brown death of winter, each tiny leaf amazes,
-the rising sun with bending light, producing wake-up bursts of brilliant colors.
This week let’s step out into God’s created earth. Let’s look at it with new eyes and minds. Let’s see it for what it is, God’s magical creation, given to us to please us, given to us to care for, and given to us to demonstrate His amazing love.
I thank God for each of you! And I thank you for joining me this week as we praise God for His created earth.
Blessings as you discover God in the small details of His created world!
