Thank You, God, for the beautiful world You created for us!

Are you still keeping track of all your daily blessings of God’s everlasting love and His amazing grace? I am. My journal is bursting with all the ways that God has touched my life and the lives of family and friends.

This week is Thanksgiving. A special day where we can thank God for all that He has done for us. Our Bible verse says we can praise God with a song and glorify Him with thanksgiving (by thanking Him for all our many blessings).

This week I want you to make an acrostic poem for Thanksgiving. Use the first letter for one of the blessings you kept track of these past two weeks. I am going to make one as an example for you. Then I want you to put your own blessings of God’s everlasting love and amazing grace in for each letter in Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving

Thank you, God, for everything!

Hearing my prayers each night.

Always being with me.

No matter what, You love me.

Keeping me safe in the “shadow of Your wings”.

Saving me when I accept Jesus as my Savior.

Giving me a loving family.

Identifying me as a child of Yours.

Verses in the Bible that show You love me.

Illuminating the night sky with the moon and stars.

Nature that surrounds me with beauty and light.

Giving me, and everyone, the gift of Your Son, Jesus.
