A wildly wonderful sunrise in God’s beautiful created world!
God’s marvelous creation is full of wildly wonderful creatures. Each unique and different and beautifully designed by God. What is your favorite animal? What is your favorite plant? Do you have a favorite bug?? All creatures were made by God.
Let’s go on a wild animal journey. See if you can guess each creature. As morning dawns and lights the sky, let’s look at some of God’s wild wonders.
Awe Inspiring Wild Wonders
I have the longest nose of all. I use it to put food in my mouth, snuggle my baby, and trumpet a warning to my herd. Do you know who I am?
I have the longest neck of all. I use it to reach the best leaves on tall trees and large brown spots cover my tan body and neck, which can be up to 8 feet tall. Do you know who I am?
I am the fastest animal on land. I zoom to catch my dinner. I have black spots and am related to your pet cat. Do you know who I am?
I am the slowest…moving…animal. I have long furry arms and legs with hooked claws for living in trees. I live most of my life hanging in the treetops and even my name means sluggish or lazy. Do you know who I am?
I am the heaviest animal. I live in warm oceans and eat tons of tiny food called plankton and krill. I have the color blue in my name. Do you know who I am?
I am the perfect desert animal. I can carry people or packs and I can drink gallons of water at a time. I have long legs and a hump. Do you know who I am?
I am an animal who lives in a pack. I am a fierce hunter and I howl to communicate with my pack. I have thick fur and am related to your pet dog. Do you know who I am?
I am the biggest bird. I have very long legs and a long neck, but I can not fly. I have black feathers on my body, but my legs, neck and head are bare. Do you know who I am?

This week think of your favorite wonder of God’s creation. Make up your own clue for the creature or thing you chose. Ask your parents or your friends to guess! Then see if they will make one up for you.
