Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; make a melody to our God on the lyre!    Psalm 147:7 ESV

Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! Psalm 95:2 ESV

Our Thanksgiving holiday in the United States remembers the celebration of the fall harvest with the indigenous peoples and the European settlers. But it is also a time to give thanks to God for all He has done for us.

Wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving this week! As we also take this time to give thanks to the Lord as well!

All of our verses for today are from the Psalms, and each one reminds us of the importance of remembering to give thanks to the Lord our God.

This week let’s thank God for our friends and families! Let’s share with others all that God has done for us. Let’s sing to the Lord and make a joyful noise. Let’s offer our sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord. And let’s also remember to thank all those who do so much for us.
