The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. Psalm 19:1-2 ESV
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth! Psalm 57:11 ESV

The beauty of God in a colorful sunrise!
Our verses today talk about seeing God in His amazing creation. Our first verse says that creation “speaks” to us! When we look at creation we can see the glory of God. This means that we can see what God is like by looking at creation. Our second verse wants us to see God’s glory everywhere!
God’s Glory in Creation
The sun rises early, a new day to start,
Reds, yellows, oranges, God’s work of art./
Creation awakes and speaks God’s story,
How everything gives God the glory.
Flowers bloom and the bees buzz around,
Thanking God that rain and food abound.
The birds sing and caw and trill and squawk,
Praising God for their families and flocks.
The animals of the seas splash and dive,
Giving glory to God, happy to be alive.
All the animals that God has designed,
God’s attention and care is assigned.
When we look at creation, we can see what God is like. God created and cares for and loves all His creations, the seas and mountains, the plants and the animals, and of course people. In the Bible (Matthew 10:29) Jesus says, “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.” If God cares about a tiny bird, imagine how much more He cares for and loves YOU!
This week, take your family outside and explore God’s amazing creation. Where do you see God’s glory? What did you learn about God?
Blessings and joy and peace as you search creation for God’s glory!

One of the things my mother did most sabbath afternoons, was take the kids in the neighborhood for a long walk. Either to a nature reserve, or just a long walk. We’d follow along like ducklings all in a row, and occasionally she’d pause and tell a Bible story, or allow us to have a little praise n worship session.
This post reminded me of those moments as a child.
Thanks for sharing this message, Peggy…
Lovely images btw

Always Peggy. Always.
And yeah, I guess Ma didn’t want us to not be locked indoors and agitated on a sabbath. But we also looked forward to walking the woods with her. 😅
