And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years. Genesis 1:14 ESV

For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout up, so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to sprout up before all the nations. Isaiah 61:11 ESV

God created everything, the earth with oceans and mountains, lakes and fields, all the plants and animals, the sun and moon and stars, night and day, and the seasons. Spring is a season of renewal and “sprouting.” Spring is beginning where I live. Today I want to invite you to join me in celebrating the beauty of spring in God’s amazing creation. A few words and pictures.

The days grow longer, the sun rises stronger, the colors glow in God’s good morning show.

Spring rains fall gently on the forest floor, toad stools pop up through the leaves galore.

The earth warms as the sun shines, blooms begin to appear, true spring signs.

Trees are budding and here and there, a leaf, welcoming spring with amazing belief.

I thank God for each of you! And I thank you for joining me this week in celebrating the beauty of spring. Even if it is not yet spring where you live, you can still find beauty in God’s wonderful creation. And don’t forget that part of the beauty of God’s creation is you!
