Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Matthew 28:19 & 20b ESV
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Romans 10:9-10 ESV
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold the new has come. 2 Corinthians 2:17 ESV

The Bible is the story of God’s love for His creations, you and me, and everyone! In our first verse, Jesus is sending His disciples to other places so that they can share the Good News about God and Jesus with others. He also tells them, and us, that He will always be with us, wherever we are.
And the Good News that they are sharing and that we can also share with others is this:
God sent His Son, Jesus, to earth as a man to teach people about God and the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus was born in Bethlehem (we celebrate Jesus’ birthday at Christmas). He grew into a man and went throughout Israel talking about God and how we should treat people.
Jesus loved people. Jesus healed the sick and broken. He gave hearing to the deaf. Jesus even brought dead people back to life. Then He did what God had sent Him to do. Jesus died on the cross, and then three days later…Jesus rose from death and was alive again. He defeated death, so that you and I and anyone who believes in Him and all He did for us could be saved from sin and death.
To be saved, some call it to be “born again” because Jesus makes us a new, is to become a follower or disciple of Jesus, believing and having faith in Him and knowing that He is always with you.
This week talk to your parents about salvation and what it means to them and what it might mean for you. It is a big step to become a follower and disciple of Jesus. And it takes faith and trust that God and Jesus will care for you and keep their promises for your life.
So, what do you need to do to be saved? Just remember ABC.
Admit – admit to God what you have done wrong and ask for forgiveness.
Believe – believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again as payment for your sins.
Choose – choose to confess that Jesus is Lord of your life and follow Him and you will be saved. You will be a child of God!
Blessings and joy as you put your faith in Jesus!
I really love those ABCs! You better teach my friend.
