Sing With All the Earth!

Oh sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth! Sing to the LORD, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!   Psalm 96:1-3 ESV

A beautiful spring sunset singing to our Lord with peace and color.

I think spring is finally coming…flowers are blooming, trees are budding and leafing out, and the sunshine is warmer. Is spring coming in your part of the world? If not, come and join with us anyway and sing praises to the LORD with all the earth.

Sing With All the Earth!

The flowers burst in reds, blues, purples, whites, and yellows.

The honeybees visit each bloom, buzzing like happy fellows.

The trees sway to the rhythm of the wind, a choir of praise.

The rising sun brings joy and light and a melody to our days.

The white clouds in the blue sky sing a duet of shadow and light.

The squirrels chatter from dizzying heights, thanks and delight.

The coyote pups yip and bark and howl at the shining moon.

The crickets, katydids, and cicadas join with their own joyful tune.

The pond frogs croak in the peaceful shade of feathery green ferns.

The creek’s water gurgles around rocks with tumbles and turns.

The birds chirp, cheep, warble, and whistle to God, adored.

The children laugh and run and shout and sing to the Lord.

This week, join your voice with all the earth and sing to the LORD! Take a walk outside in God’s amazing creation and sing with all the earth to the Creator. Talk with your parents, how can all of you praise and glorify God? Maybe you can write your own poem or song for the Lord.

Blessings and joy as you join with all the earth in welcoming spring and singing praise to the LORD!
