Oh sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth! Sing to the LORD, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! Psalm 96:1-3 ESV

I think spring may finally be coming! Trees are budding out and daffodils are blooming. The grass is greening up and the dogs are frisky. The days are a bit warmer, and we even saw snakes out! All of creation sings to the Creator. Let’s join in the praise song to our Lord.
Sing to the LORD, all the Earth!
The sun risess with hymns of warm colors and increasing light.
The birds awaken, chirping a symphony as they take flight.
The wind whispers praises rushing through the tall treetops.
The tree branches sway and dance as they sing in the copse.
The blue skies and white clouds harmonize in a heavenly duet.
The rhythmic waves slap at the wooded shore of a pondside inlet.
The doves coo as they walk through grasses in the morning dew.
The snowcapped mountains stand stoically orchestrating the view.
The coyote pups yip and whine joyfully in their underground dens.
The squirrels loudly chattering thanks to God for acorns and friends.
The flowers serenade the green meadow with a colorful spring show.
The creek splashes and cascades with an eternal musical flow.
This week let’s all join our voices with the melodies of spring and sing to the LORD! Let’s bask in the warm sunshine and greet another arrival of the season. Let’s step out into God’s most amazing creation and sing with joy, declare His glory, and tell of His salvation and works among the people!
I thank God for each of you! And I thank you for joining me this week as we welcome spring and sing a new song to the LORD.
Blessings and joy as we praise our Creator for the new life of spring with a new song!

the heavens declare the glory of the Lord and the firmament shows his handiwork. Springtime was blessed with a partial eclipse for me in south FL. It was an opportunity to remind me that the grand architect is still undefeated. We laid and applaud men for the grand projects they accomplish, but we deny the creator of the universe of the praise he deserves. Lovely poetry, Peggy. 💜

We enjoyed the eclipse yesterday as well. Yes, all of creation glorifies the Creator. Thank you, Nigel, for visiting and your encouraging comments.

What a fine piece of poetry, Peggy! How can someone not feel at least a little bit of hope when witnessing nature’s rebirth each spring? The first green after months of gray and white reinvigorates the soul, for sure. And I agree: we all should give thanks for acorns and friends! What a fun and appropriate image, and definitely one this former farm boy can appreciate. 😊🌳🐿
