Creation Sings Praises to God, the Creator!

His splendor covers the heavens, and the earth is full of his praise. His brilliance is like light; rays are flashing from his hand. This is where His power is hidden. Habakkuk 3:3b-4 CSB

Let’s join all of the earth in praising God for His amazing creation!

Our verses for today come from the Bible book of Habakkuk. He was a prophet, which means he listened to God and told others (and us) what God said. Habakkuk writes about his conversations or prayers with God. Habakkuk says God’s splendor, God’s glory, covers the heavens and that the earth is full of praises to God the Creator.

Creation Sings!

Robins chirp, owls hoot, crows caw, and mourning doves coo.

Dogs bark, cats meow, elephants trumpet, and swans do, too.

The sun shines, the wind blows, trees sway, and puffy clouds float.

Stars twinkle, the moon glows, and mountain tops wear a snowy coat.

Ocean waves splash, grasses bow down, and the summer storm thunders.

Humans sing songs, kneel down to pray, and thank God for all His wonders.

This week step outside into God’s amazing creation. Look at everything that God has made and think about the different parts of God’s creation. How does each one praise Him? What in creation let’s us see God and His light and power? Talk with your parents and make your own list of where you find God in creation and how His creation praises Him. And even in a city there are plenty of God’s creations to find!

And don’t forget to think about how you can praise God because you are one of His amazing creations, too!

Blessings and joy as you join with creation in praising God!
