I have asked one thing from the LORD; it is what I desire: to dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, gazing on the beauty of the LORD and seeking him in his temple. Psalms 27:4 CSB
My daughter and I met up in Denver for a “mother-daughter” weekend. We went hiking a couple of days and to a concert at Red Rocks. This verse from a Psalm by David came to mind as we spent time in God’s amazing creation and marveled at the beauty.
I love the word, “dwell” in this verse. Dwell means to sit and stay, abide, remain, and reside. As we walked and explored God’s created world, we were beckoned to stay awhile and gaze at the formations and mountains, the beauty of the Lord in all that He has made.
I pause now in my writing because no words can convey the beauty of the Lord in His creation as well as the pictures. So, enjoy the beauty of the Lord!

Beautiful words and photos, Peggy. I’m glad you had a good trip to Colorado. It’s been years since I visited Rocky Mountain National Park. I’ve never been to Garden of the Gods. Colorado is a gorgeous state (including my area down in the southwest corner). It’s always a pleasure to read your thoughts. Wonderful stuff, my friend! 🙂
