And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written; How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the good news.
So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ. Romans 10:15, 17 CSB

These verses come from a letter that Paul wrote to a church that he had started in Rome. Paul was, what we would call, a missionary. He traveled to many different places and preached the Good News about Jesus. Paul told how Jesus died to forgive sins, how Jesus arose from the dead to give salvation and eternal life to all who believe in Him. Then the new believers would group together to be a church.
Do you go to a church? Do you have a preacher (pastor, reverend, priest, minister) or a Sunday School teacher? They may not travel but they are like Paul. They want to tell you more about Jesus and all He did and does for all of us. They want you to hear the Good News about Jesus so that your faith will grow stronger.
Did you know that when Paul wrote a letter to a church, and he wrote lots, he would send someone to read the letter out loud to the whole church? He wanted the new believers to hear his words about Jesus so that their faith would grow and be stronger, too.
There are still missionaries today. They travel to different places or countries to share the Good News about Jesus. A friend of mine was a missionary in Africa for many years. He was a doctor and a preacher. He treated sicknesses and other medical problems the people had, and he also shared the Good News of Jesus. All those new believers started their own church just like in Paul’s day.
But you don’t have to go to a foreign country to be a missionary. You can bring the Good News of Jesus to people right in your own town or community. You can share the light of the Lord with everyone and help their faith grow like yours.
This week, talk to your parents. How could your family bring the Good News of Jesus to someone in your community? You might invite a friend to come to church and hear about Jesus. You could show kindness to the people you meet. Maybe you could cook a meal for someone or help with a chore they can’t do. Choose one thing you and your family can do to bring the Good News so that others may hear the message about Jesus.
Blessings and “beautiful feet” as you bring the Good News to others!
This sound teaching and you just shared a message worth sharing
