“You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them, you give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.” Nehemiah 9:6 NIV

Happy New Year! It’s the start of a brand-new year. What do you and your family have planned for this year? What will be fun and what will be challenging? Our verse for today encourages us to remember who God is and all that He has done for us.
So I was thinking, before we start on our projects or our goals, let’s look over the past year and see how many things we can think of where God helped us, or comforted us, or worked things out for our good. Let’s remember all the wonderful ways God is with us.
Remember All the Lord Has Done
God created you, wonderfully unique, amazing you!
God made puffy clouds and the sky a beautiful blue,
So you can laze on your back enjoy the wide view.
God made the moon bright at night to see you through.
God made the mountains and the deepest seas,
So you can sail, swim, and hike where you please.
God gives you friends and laughter and shady trees.
God is with you always, by your side, your heart sees.
This week, the first week of the new year, make a list of all the things God has done for you, all the prayers He’s answered, all the friends and family around you, and all of the other wonderful, God-given things in your life. Share your list with your parents and see if they have some things of their own to add. Let’s all remember all that God has done. And let’s give Him the praise and thanks for all of it.
I remember God for every blog He helped me write and for each one of you! And so, so many more blessings on my list.
Blessings and joy as we all remember God in this new year!
Thanks for this reminder ❤️
