God’s Glory

“For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.” Psalms 108:4-5 NIV

The created world continually displays God’s glory. Every creation gives glory to its Creator.

I See God’s Glory…

In the intricate design of a spider’s weave,

In the delicate veining of a tree’s lush leaves.

In the rays of the sun bringing warmth and light,

In wild blueberry bushes bursting with sweet delight.

In a patch of wildflowers blooming in an unexpected place,

In a red-tailed hawk soaring with strength and grace.

In grassy fields billowing like waves in the wind,

In trout jumping and splashing, shiny and finned.

In us, too, we exalt Him and give Him the glory,

With loving hearts, healing words to tell His story.

This week try to see God’s glory in the created world. Discover His strength and power, His love and caring, and His wonderful plan in His creation. Also see His glory in you!

I thank God for each of you! And I thank you for joining me this week as we seek God’s glory in creation and in us.

Blessings and glory to God!

  1. Peggy, this is a beautiful piece. If we could just stop from all the busyness and look around at the creation—We would worship God and asked the same question David did…what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. (Psalm 8:4-6) Have a great week…Blessings and Peace!
