“May the Lord cause you to flourish, both you and your children. May you be blessed by the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalms 115:14-15 NIV

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 NIV

My husband calls this the “jungle corner”. But the blooming flowers in the winter is a beautiful blessing. Can you see the snow on the ground?

Last year is behind us. Whew! And the new year has begun…limping in amidst increasing pandemic statistics and political unrest. Our new year and “new beginning” seem to be starting with the baggage carried in from last year.

So today, I want to take time to pause, to take a deep breath, to square our shoulders and step determinedly into this year remembering that our God is still in control. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 NIV

I want to take this time and this platform to pray a blessing over each and every person and family for this new year.

May God grant you, your children and your families –

            the gift of His peace.

            the abundance of increase.

the joy that He is near.

            the removal of fear.

            the strength He provides.

            the path He guides.

            His everlasting love.

            the hope of heaven above.

May God grant you, your children and your families – your hearts’ desires as you walk closer with the Lord. Be blessed!

This week, revel in the blessings that our Lord provides. Praise and thank Him and walk joyfully in His presence. As you live your “blessed” life, know that you will become a blessing for others.

I thank God for each of you! I thank you for joining me this week as we all embrace our blessings from the Lord our God.
