“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 NIV

Last year is behind us. Whew! And the new year has begun…limping in amidst increasing pandemic statistics and political unrest. Our new year and “new beginning” seem to be starting with the baggage carried in from last year.

So today, I want to take time to pause, to take a deep breath, to square our shoulders and step determinedly into this year remembering that our God is still in control. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 NIV

I want to take this time and this platform to pray a blessing over each and every person and family for this new year.

            the gift of His peace.

            the abundance of increase.

            the joy that He is near.

            the removal of fear.

            the strength He provides.

            the path He guides.

            His everlasting love.

            the hope of heaven above.

This week, revel in the blessings that our Lord provides. Praise and thank Him and walk joyfully in His presence. As you live your “blessed” life, know that you will become a blessing for others.
