Happy New Year! As this new year begins, I want all of us to remember that we are “new creations” in Jesus Christ. God has reconciled each of us to Him through the gift and sacrifice of His Son. Praise and joy!

New!

Each sunrise is a new beginning, a new day.

A clean slate, loved and forgiven, is God’s way.

Greet the Lord with joy, new praises and prayers.

Sharing your earthly burdens of worries and cares.

You are that new creation, lovingly reconciled.

Free to walk with the Lord, as His adopted child.

Invited into His will and offering up your heart.

Your new beginning is now, just look up and start.

This week, just as we are leaving 2020 behind us, leave the old behind you, the sin, the loneliness, the regret, the past. Each day, each hour, go to the Lord and accept your new beginning. Joyfully accept His love, His forgiveness, His comfort and His blessings. Let Him create you anew!

I thank God for each of you! And I thank you for joining me this week as we each become the new creation we were meant to be with a new beginning in the Lord.
