“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name.” Psalms 100:4 (NKJV)
What a beautiful sunrise this morning! Thank You, God, for the colors of the sunrise and the fresh, new day!
Every day there are so many times that we can say thank you to God. Thank You, God for my mom and dad, for my sisters and brothers (most of the time!), for a house to live in, and for the wonderful world He created for us.
Thank You, God, for this sunny new day,
So I can go out with my dogs and play!
Thank You, God, for my mom and dad,
Who love and care for me and make me glad!
Thank You, God, for my best funny friend;
We laugh and play all day to the end!
Thank You, God, for the dark starry sky,
Too many bright stars to count, but I try!
Activity: This week, think of something for which you can thank God. Then add your own lines to the poem above! (Ask your parents to help with the writing if you need it.)
Afterwards, ask your parents to share your own poem as a reply to this blog so everyone can read it and thank God!
