“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” Hebrews 11:1 & 3 (NKJV)
Faith is a complete trust in someone. We have faith that our mom and dad will always love and take care of us and keep us safe. We can have faith in God, too! God loves us and cares about us. But we can see our mom and dad. How do we have faith in God if we can’t see Him?
In the picture above, when the cloud covers the forest, all the trees are still there, you just can’t see them all anymore. But you know they are there because you have seen them before. God created the whole world for us to live in and enjoy. The proof of God is in the wonderful, incredible life he created and continues to look after.
I can see God in all the beautiful plants He made,
All shedding seeds, before in winter, they fade.
I can see God in the moon, brightly shinning its light,
So people and creatures can see the earth at night.
I can see God in all the unique animals of this world,
Even my dogs as they play and twist and twirl .
I can see God in a bright, colorful rainbow,
That promises God cares for all creation, high and low.
Activity: Explore God’s beautiful created world and find one thing in which you can see God. Take a picture or draw one and tell someone about where you saw God.
Afterwards ask your parents to share your picture as a reply to this blog so everyone can see God!
