Our powerful and amazing God created everything! If we look in Genesis, first God spoke light into the darkness, day and night. Next came the heavens, the sky. Then God made the earth and the seas. God designed every green, growing plant. He put in place the sun and the moon and all the stars. He fashioned every sea creature and bird. God imagined and made every animal and insect. And last He created men and women to take care of His amazing creation.

Our verses for today tell us that not only us, but everything in creation praises the Lord!

All Creation Praises the Lord!

The rising sun brings light and praise to each new day,

Beautiful blue skies, white fluffy clouds call us to pray.

The dry land and the watery seas covered all the earth,

And sea creatures and birds were given their birth.

Then plants and trees and flowers took their place,

Praising God for his love and mercy and grace!

The moon and the stars were set in nighttime skies,

Shining God’s love and power for everyone’s eyes.

Next animals and insects inhabited the new land,

Praising God for life on earth so well planned.

And last God made people in His image alone,

To care for and cherish our newly formed home!

This week talk with your parents about all that God has created. How can you and your family praise God? Can you think of other ways that creation praises God? Other than you, what are your favorite creations? You can have more than a few.
