First a Happy Mother’s Day to every mother, mom, grandma, foster mom, adoptive mom, and those dads who have to be mother and father! I hope this day finds you surrounded and celebrated by family and friends. Mothers are love. We learn love from our moms (and dads, and grandparents, and all others who have loved us).

Thank you to all today for loving, caring, helping, teaching, and raising us to become who we are. Blessings and joy!

Masters of love, comfort, and encouragement; always picking us up when we fall.

Oases we come to when we are hurt or troubled, our mothers are our “catch-all.”

Teachers in life; instructing and guiding, cuddling and caring, modeling their best.

Hope, always wanting successes for us, always praying we’ll be happy and blessed.

Everlasting cheerleaders, faithfully cheering us on to try, to endure and to flourish.

Rest, calming our worries, soothing our fears, healing our hurts, proving we are cherished.

Selfless and giving us the very best of herself to help us to become the very best we can be.

This Mother’s Day, if your mom is still around, make sure to celebrate her in your life. If your mom is gone, like my mom, let the memories remind you of all she was and all she did for you. Our mom’s shape our lives because of the lives they lived for us.
