Last week a friend came for a visit, and I drove her back home. We traveled a lot of the back roads that go through farms and small towns. Country roads with turns and twists so you go a bit slower and enjoy more of the scenery. She commented that she didn’t understand how people couldn’t see God in creation. It is so beautiful and so complete. I agreed and this verse from Habakkuk came to mind.

You know, if you’ve read my blogs for any length of time, that finding God in His creation is a favorite theme. So, this week, thank you, Rose!

Creation’s Praise!

Dawn breaks and the display of colors sing their praise.

Mountains rise above valleys filled with foggy haze.

Farm fields full of hay dance in waves in the breeze.

Flowers buzz with the sweet worship of honeybees.

Towering pines raise their branches toward heaven.

In an azure sky the clouds puff up as if full of leaven.

The birds sing and tweet, the crickets chirp in the night.

Stars sparkle, meteors shower, and the moon glows bright.

This week take time to enjoy God’s amazing creation. Step outside and find God in the work of His hands. Where do you find God in creation? Where do you see His power? Where do you hear praise for the Creator?

I thank God for each of you! And I thank you for joining me this week as we join with all of creation in praising our Creator.
