Sing Praise!

Let the whole earth shout joyfully to God! Sing about the glory of his name; make his praise glorious. The whole earth will worship you and sing praise to you. They will sing praise to your name. Psalms 66:1-2,4 CSB

With the dogs at the pond, singing praises to God the Creator.

Spring is here and summer is coming. Everything seems to be in bloom and green and growing. When I step outside, I have to thank God for the beauty of creation. I have to join all the earth in singing praises to our Creator.

Sing Praise!

The whirlwind spins and rises toward heaven, declaring praise in twists and swirls.

The wild blueberry bushes burst with blooms, conveying praise with abundant fruit.

The furled ferns sprout in shades of green, expressing praise with waving fronds.

The toadstools pop up from the wet forest floor, displaying praise with umbrella tops.

The hummingbirds’ wings thrum softly, humming praise with their fanciful flight.

The deer give birth to spotted fawns, sounding praise with their nurturing care.

The trout in the pond swim and jump, singing praise with exuberant splashes.

The oak trees sway and raise their branches, crooning praise with a rhythmic breeze.

The squirrels scamper and climb, belting out praise with chattering and clattering.

The dogs run and swim, chase and play, harmonizing praise with joyful barking.

I had so much fun writing this post! I sat on the patio and looked out into the woods and then took the dogs down to the pond. God’s beautiful and sometimes loud creation sings His praises, we just have to observe and listen. And then we can add our voices to the praise song.

This week, spend some time in God’s amazing creation. What “praise songs” do you hear? What is your favorite praise song? Sing along with the whole earth, worship and sing praise to the Creator.

I thank God for each of you! And I thank you for joining me this week as we join with the whole earth in singing praise to our God.

Blessings and joyful singing!
